One of the things that make Walnut Village so much fun is our unabashed enthusiasm for the arts. With more than 500 pieces from artists all over Southern California, it’s really like enjoying all the wonders of an art museum without ever having to leave home.

If you want to explore your creativity, we’ve got just the place. Clay’s is a full working artist studio with pottery kiln, easels, brushes and professional instruction on a variety of fine art mediums. You might even find your work exhibited in our own Art Gallery.

And if the limelight is where you feel most at home, then our landmark Chapel and Performing Arts Center is for you. Catch a theatre production or live concert, or get together with your friends to sing, dance, act, read poetry or produce your own show.

Some of our residents display their work at the Front Porch Gallery in Carlsbad. The Gallery partners with community arts organizations to create an understanding of aging through art. We invite you to visit the Front Porch Gallery at 2903 Carlsbad Boulevard in Carlsbad. It’s located adjacent to Carlsbad By The Sea Retirement Community.
